Privacy Policy

Data stored on your device

No ShiftSum account is required. Job information, wage settings, pay schedules, shifts, tips, bonuses, and calculated earnings stay locally on your device. The developer does not collect or transmit that app data.

Purchases

Apple processes ShiftSum Pro purchases and entitlement verification through the App Store and StoreKit. The developer does not receive your payment-card, bank-account, or other payment credentials. ShiftSum receives only the verified entitlement state needed to make purchased features available. Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s policies.

Widgets

ShiftSum widgets use only a minimal local snapshot containing the information needed to show the next payday and countdown. The widget does not open the app’s shift-history database and does not receive job names, wages, tips, bonuses, earnings totals, or individual shifts.

CSV exports

CSV exports are created locally only after you request one. An export leaves the device only when you explicitly choose a destination in Apple’s system share sheet. After sharing, the selected recipient or service governs its copy.

Deleting local data

You can remove ShiftSum’s local jobs, shifts, pay schedules, temporary exports, preferences, and widget snapshot through Settings → Delete All Data. App Store purchase history is managed by Apple and is not removed by this action.

Support email

If you email support, the developer receives only the information you choose to send and uses it to respond to and manage your request. Email is handled by the provider you use and by Gmail/Google for the ShiftSum support mailbox under Google’s Privacy Policy.

You may request deletion of your support correspondence by emailing shiftsum.app.support@gmail.com.

Ordinary support correspondence will be retained for up to 12 months after the support request is resolved, then deleted when reasonably practical. This is a manual operational policy; deletion is not automatic. Correspondence may be retained longer when necessary for an unresolved request, fraud prevention, accounting, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

This website

This website is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub states that it logs visitors’ IP addresses for security and may process ordinary technical request information under the GitHub Privacy Statement.

ShiftSum adds no cookies, analytics, forms, advertising, sale of data, cross-app tracking, developer telemetry, third-party scripts, remote fonts, or remote media to this website.
